iCopic Blog Hop - All about children!

Since this hop is all about children, I thought it would be fun to make a card for a little kid for Christmas.  It can either hold money, a gift card or even accompany a wrapped present!  I stamped the adorable Fizzy Moon - Presents stamp in Memento - Tuxedo Black ink.  I am loving iCopic's selection of 6x6 patterned paper packs, click here to check them out!  I wanted to make my card look like a present so I adhered some ribbon going both ways and then a bow at the top.  I then added a little tag under the bow using a sentiment from the same Fizzy Moon set.  I also wanted to add that the little snowflakes that are behind the bear and on the tag are from that set as well.  I like when a stamp has a few extras with it!

Here's a closeup where you can get a better idea of the colors I used.  For the bear's body, I used Copics: E37, E35 and E31.  His nose with C7, C5 and N0.  For his hat I used R29, R27, R24 and R22.  Behind the glittery parts I used a little B0000 to help add some shadowing.  All the presents were done with either blues, reds or greens.  Blues: B24, B23 and B21.  Reds: R29, R27, R24 and R22.  Greens: G07, G05, G03 and G02.  I also hadded a little glitter to a few of the presents.
